Timber Floor Underfloor Heating

Our Profoil™ and Profoil™ Plus systems were developed especially for use with timber suspended floors. The system makes fitting timber floors with underfloor heating very easy. The systems are custom manufactured for your project. To install, you simply lay the panels between timber joists and insert continuous pipe in the channels. Custom highway boards connect the pipe work to the manifold.

Screed Floor Underfloor Heating

In many new builds the application of the underfloor heating will be within a solid concrete or screed floor. In these situations the piping is embedded in the screed, with Profix™ insulation (to adhere to building regulations). Any other floor covering can then be applied to the solid floor without much loss of heat. Our continuous pipe can be embedded directly in screed with Profoil insulation either above or below the main slab. The pipe is simply laid into place and tied to steel mesh before pouring the screed. If the floor insulation meets current building requirements no other insulation will be required.

Floor on Floor

Profoil™ insulation can be laid directly on existing surfaces for Floor on Floor installation. Continuous pipe is then inserted into the Profoil channels and connected to the manifold with a highway board.

Floating Floor

Floating floor systems allow you to install the underfloor heating pipes in between an existing solid floor and a new floor surface. This lets you achieve the same effect as screeded floors without the need for excavating the existing solid floor. Our Profoil™ products can be laid on existing screeded surfaces for a floating floor. Installation is straightforward, you simply lay your custom panels on top of the concrete surface and insert continuous pipe in the channels. Custom highway boards connect the pipe work to the manifold.
