The Advantages of
a Profoil™ System

Profoil™ was developed by FloRad engineers and is available exclusively from FloRad. Its unique design provides many advantages over other underfloor heating systems and has made it by far our most popular product.

Essentially four products in one, Profoil™ combines an insulation base with a flexible reflective surface which can be used for either heating or cooling. Grooves moulded into the insulation secure the continuous pipe lengths, eliminating the need for clips, and an acoustic layer prevents impact sound transmission (optional).

Produced in varying thicknesses, Profoil can also be manufactured to suit most pipe bore sizes.

Profoil™ is and energy efficient system. It is Its reflective foil surface helps distribute heat more quickly throughout the room, decreasing system start up time and reduce running costs.

Unlike other systems, it can be installed in most types of floor construction and can be specified as a standard insulation detail to meet current building regulations. Profoil™ can be installed in floors, ceilings and walls and can be used for both heating and cooling using a continuous polyethelene pipe water system.
